Flutter of Butterflies Group holisticvet1 Posted June 30 Flutter of Butterflies Group Share Posted June 30 We only focus on Google, but I have heard other practices focus on Bing too. I think its more trial and error. Some practices to great on bing but I have heard others don't. Link to comment
Administrators Kelly Posted July 3 Administrators Share Posted July 3 Hello all, Search is dominated by Google but that is changing. It also depends on where search is done a desktop or a mobile device. Here is a great article to read if you want to get caught up to date with where people are searching. https://www.cloudwards.net/search-engine-statistics/. Here are the key take aways from the article. The bottom line is knowing the demographic of the hospital and WHERE this demographic goes to find information. Asking people where they search or monitoring traffic to the website through Google Anayltics and Google Console can help answer this question. Kelly Link to comment

Administrators Kelly Posted July 7 Administrators Share Posted July 7 Hello! Google console is the place where Google reaches out to you about your website. It also has a host of little stat goodies in there to understand how people are finding and using your website. If your website has made Google crabby, this is where Google is going to let you know about it. It is still easy to use versus other Google "tools" which have gotten really complex. Google has written more information about it here at https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9128668?hl=en. There is a little video on that page/link that will help walk you through it. If you are just wanting the short notes here is a screen shot from that page: Every website should have Google Console connected to it. You get started by going to https://search.google.com/search-console/about. The owner of the business should have admin rights to this area as it is considered a business property. Other questions about it? Kelly 1 Link to comment
